Derbyshire Ringing Holiday
Friday 20th
Tim and I left home at about 06:15! We picked up Malcolm on the way and met Paul at the train station in Loughborough. We then headed to the first tower to meet the Wallers.
12:15 – 12:45 Foremark (4) 8-2-12
We had a picnic lunch at the next tower.

Pub for Dinner at the Royal Oak, Ockbrook
Saturday 21st

Lunch in Belper

15:45 – 16:45 Duffield (10) 17-2-11
Nearly had a lock out and then when we did get in we had a failed quarter attempt!

Saturday night can only mean a take away and one of Tim's quizzes!! We had a Derbyshire round, Flags round, Film music round, Death tolls round, Dr Pixie's round all interspersed with a grope box round!!
Sunday 22nd
09:30 – 10:00 Spondon (6) 8-1-18 Service ringing
10:30 – 11:00 Ockbrook (6) 5-1-26 Service ringing
11:30 – 12:00 Breaston (6) 7-1-14
Lunch in the Toby carvery at Chaddesden!!
14:30 – 15:30 Derby, St Luke (8) 30-3-02
Back at the lodges we had dinner followed by general mayhem!! The wallers had brought with them some modelling balloons and some amusing teeth!
